In that same year, Joseph filed for bankruptcy as a restaurant manager. The house was put up for sale in 1941, and was sold in 1942 to G.W. Dieter, the realtor, who possessed it until at least 1943. Joseph would pass away in 1943 from lung cancer.

From at least 1954 to 1973, the Bradfield family occupied the home. William P. and Mary Bradfield lived there. Mary was originally from London, and passed away in 1958. After her death, the house was lived in by her son Brian & his wife Jeanne until at least her death in 1973.

tHE Sulpizio family purcahsed the home from the Bradfield familly in 1977 for $60,000. In 1987, the house was sold by Robert and Michelle Sulpizio to William and Cathy Twaddle for $148,000.
